Go to the website and register using the information from the box. The biggest problem I had is when I first purchased it, was being unable to register the motherboard by following the given instructions. I've had this motherboard up and running with almost no problems for at least a year now. Under the main UPC Code on the left, is a breakdown of the motherboard capabilities. Then there is a QR-Code to the right, two sets of numbers under it and a couple more smaller UPC codes.
Instead, There's the model number which I just gave you, then the next line is the serial number starting with S/N: with a 19 digit number after it. On the package (box) for my motherboard (MEG X570 GODLIKE) there is NO MB-XXXX on the Box what so ever. These days, Live Update is built into both Dragon Center and MSI Center and I believe MSI is trying to switch all motherboards over to MSI Center. The software that you install is Per the Instructions for the Motherboard that you purchase. But if it's no longer being kept up to date, then that means it's out dated and can expose your system to security threats just by not being patched regularly.
If it's still being updated regularly, then fine. That's at least 6, almost 7 years ago and doesn't even show whether the program is still being supported or not.
That Live Update application, on that page starting from image 3, at least six images show a date of "2015" on them.
